Processing is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to visitors from the European Union, we process data in accordance with it as well.

Server log files

Our hosting provider automatically records technical data when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer, browser and operating system. This data is necessary to deliver the website securely and is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in stable, secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted or anonymised after a short retention period by the provider.

Contact form and email

If you write to us through the form or by email, we process the details you provide — name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your message — solely in order to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to conduct the resulting negotiation. The legal basis is your consent and the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

Enquiries from company owners are treated as confidential. They are not shared with third parties, advisers or intermediaries without your explicit agreement. We keep correspondence for as long as the matter is open and afterwards only where statutory retention obligations require it.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies for tracking, advertising or statistics. Your language selection is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device so that the site opens in the language you chose. It contains no personal data and never leaves your browser. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Fonts

The typefaces used on this website are delivered from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address for that request. Where fonts are hosted on our own server instead, no such connection takes place.

Your rights

You may request information about the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, a restriction of processing, and a copy of the data you provided in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

Please write to privacy@jad-holding.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or, within the European Union, with your competent supervisory authority.

Data security and transfers

This website is delivered over an encrypted TLS connection. Where group companies or service providers outside Switzerland and the EU are involved in answering an enquiry, transfers take place only on the basis of an adequate legal mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses.
